Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

Telephone requests should be made by leaving a message on our prescription line any time between 6pm and 9am the next working day.

Written requests can also be handed in to reception.

Alternatively you can order online by following the link at the top of this page and carrying out a simple registration.

Please order well in advance and allow 48 hours for prescriptions to be processed . We would also ask you not to make requests during surgery consultations.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will have the need for these medications reviewed at regular intervals.

Antibiotic Treatment

Please note that following recent advice regarding antibiotic prescribing we have decided to restrict our use of them. In this respect nobody will receive antibiotics unless assessed by a doctor.

You may not on every occasion be prescribed an antibiotic for your illness. Sometimes we will advise simple treatments such as paracetamol or throat lozenges for 24-48 hours. However, if you feel your illness is more severe or the symptoms have not settled, please arrange to see your doctor.
