DUE TO UNPRECEDENTED DEMAND FOR TELEPHONE ACCESS TO THE SURGERY WE HAVE MADE CHANGES TO THE OPENING TIMES OF OUR PRESCRIPTION ORDERING LINE.
IT WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE DURING SURGERY OPENING HOURS. THIS WILL ALLOW THOSE WHO NEED TO SPEAK TO A RECEPTIONIST OR A DOCTOR TO GET THROUGH TO THE SURGERY AND ALLOW US TO GET THROUGH TO YOU.

YOU WILL STILL GET YOUR REGULAR MEDICATIONS WHEN YOU NEED THEM. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER TOO EARLY OR UNNECESSARILY.

We operate a phone first appointment system. All requests for a routine consultation with a doctor are triaged by a doctor. Telephone consultation requests are accepted by speaking to a receptionist from 9am each day until capacity for the day has been reached.
The receptionist will ask if she can help you. If you are happy to give brief details of your query it may be possible to have this dealt with there and then. However you will always have the option to receive a consultation with a doctor.
You will receive a telephone call from a doctor on that day to allow you to discuss your health issues. If you require a face-to-face consultation that will normally be offered on the same day, however you can request a day or doctor of your choice.
If an urgent problem arises and you require a consultation please ring the surgery and explain your problem to a receptionist. A doctor will then ring you back.
Please be aware that Monday mornings tend to have a long list of telephone triage requests.
It is important that we have up to date details for all our patients so if you have changed address or phone number can you please contact the reception to get it updated.
